The US Defense Security Cooperation Agency informed that the US has given approval to 125 million dollar support to Pakistan’s F-16 warplanes.
DSCA provided a statement saying, “ The state department has made a determination approving a possible Foreign Military Sale to Pakistan for Technical security team in the continuation of support for the F-16 program that will as estimated cost up to 125 million dollars.”
The government of Pakistan had reportedly made a request for continuing technical support services from the US that involved the government of the US and the contractor of technical and logistics support services.
The request also mentioned various other logistical elements support in order for assistance in the oversight of operations contributing to Pakistan peace drive. According to the state department, “Potential sale will support US foreign policy and national security by protecting US technology through the constant presence of US personnel that provide 24/7 end-user monitoring.”
