Taliban assault civic organization in Kabul

Several gunmen associated to the Taliban stormed a civic international organization in Kabul on Wednesday, virtually 20 days after a complex attack on a govt building which left more than a dozen people dead. 
The attack began at 11:40am Kabul time with an explosion outside the entry gate of Counterpart Worldwide, an international organization which working in Afghanistan since 2005 an followed by gunfight as further attackers tried to insert the building, based on Nusrat Rahimi, a spokesman for Ministry of House Affairs. Wahid Mayar, spokesman for Ministry of Public Health, stated at least 9 wounded were taken to hospitals following the attack. Ambulances, firefighters military vehicles were seen near the attack scene. The security causes seized an explosive-laden vehicle from the attackers and also rescued more than 150 workers of the Counterpart International. Taliban in a statement stated responsibility for the attack. Meanwhile UNAMA condemned Taliban’s discuss targeting of civilian aid org, Counterpart International in civilian area of Kabul Afghanistan. “Today’s assault particularly deplorable, hitting civilians helping Afghans & taking place during Ramadan,” the declaration from the UN agency stated yesterday.
