Persistent rainy washes away 2nd Afghanistan-Ireland ODI

Afghanistan were 250/7 in 48.3 overs when the deals with were induced due to heavy rain. There was clearly a short break in the downpour paving an opportunity for resumption of play but it came back shortly ceasing the expected pitch inspection.

Opening batsman Hazratullah Zazai have scored his opening half-century in ODIs before he was caught for 67. There were 2 other half-centuries for Afghanistan by Rahmat Shah and also Hashmatullah Shahidi who added with 54 and also fifty two runs, respectively.
Persistent rain refused Ireland the chance to bat along with the umpires decided to call off the match up at 7:50pm IST.
Afghanistan takes you the five-match sequence 1-0 with 3rd ODI scheduled for Tuesday 5th March 2019.
