Patriotic Movies On A Brand New ‘High’ In Bollywood

New Delhi: The ‘josh’ for patriotic movies is ‘high’ in Bollywood. After the good results of “Uri: The Medical Strike”, Hindi film buffs can gear up to keep an eye on “Kesari”, “Major”, “RAW”, “Batla House”, “Panipat”, “Saare Jahaan Se Accha”, “Mission Mangal”, “’83” along with a biopic on Kargil conflict hero Vikram Batra, and others.

Women-led movies like “Neerja”, “Raazi” and also “Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi” possess kept the flag of patriotism high as well in recent times, as has an actor like Akshay Kumar who has lent a brand new meaning to ‘patriotic cinema’ by dabbling in movies like “Rustom”, “Baby”, “Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty”, “Toilet: Ek Prem Katha”, “PadMan”, “Gold” and will next be seen in “Kesari” and in space drama “Mission Mangal”.
