A restaurant is being opened on the first street of Taimani, PD 10 in Kabul despite restrictions on the distribution of COVID-19. This was reported by local residents.
The Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Health have introduced a number of restrictions to prevent the growth of those infected with the new coronavirus. Restrictions were imposed on restaurants and hotels in most of the country.
Despite the current law, according to residents, the police still have not been able to close the restaurant.
“The police commander came here and warned the restaurant owner of the closure,” said Mirza Mohammad, a district spokesman.
“The government has banned all hotels and restaurants, but this one is not yet blocked,” said Ahmad Qasim, a resident of the area.
Residents living near the restaurant said the female owner, Shakila Ibrahim, claims to be working with First Lady Rula Ghani, but these applications were rejected by the First Lady’s Office. According to a statement from the office, the owner of the establishment will be prosecuted.
