The artworks emphasize some secreted aspects of the lifestyle of women from various ethnicities, homages to the empowerment of women as ships of love, healing, revolution and also their journey between traditionalism and modernism.
The 20 artworks additionally reflect those facets of women’s life in Afghanistan which make stories abroad.
“They are excellent paintings. For instance, I discovered in some pictures which show the women sporting Burqa which is a tradition in Afghanistan yet still continues,” said Humaira, a guest.
