Afghanistan cricket team defeated Bangladesh in a two-match four-day Test series following a tie in the second match on Monday.
The host team lost the toss and was put to bat first by Afghanistan. Bangladesh was playing at a score of 18-1 when rain stopped play for two days
Bangladesh continued their batting on day 3 and put up a total score of 200 runs to be chased by Afghanistan before they were all out till day 4. Mohammad Naim contributed a total of 65runs which was the maximum from any batsmen on his side.
Afghanistan was 163-2 before the total days provided for the match ended. Man of the Match was awarded to Ibrahim Zadran who played a wonderful knock contributing 96 runs following which he was run out. Bahir Shah scored 52 not out by the end of the game.
Afghanistan had won the first four-day test match by 7 wickets leading to their victory in the series.
