Afghan embassy shares concerns to Iran about torture

After the Hormozgan province incident, where a 16-year old Afghanistan boy was badly beaten in Iran, the Afghan embassy in Iran shared its concerns with Iran foreign ministry on Thursday.

Two videos were released, one showed the young man being beaten and thrown into a car, and a second video showed the boy tied up and lying on the floor with wounds on his torso.

It is reported that the boy was beaten to death after he insulted the wife of an official from the village of Salah, Hormozgan province.

However, Sibghatulah Ahmadi, a spokesman for the Afghanistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), said that the boy is alive and that the perpetrators have been arrested.
